For me, yoga is not about reaching a specific goal or attainment by forcing your body into a deep pose, but is an extraordinary opportunity to work within your limits to safely and slowly open your body.

  • Yoga should never exceed the individuals limits.
  • Yoga, taught correctly and practiced properly, can be a powerful therapeutic tool for correcting physical and psychological issues.
  • Yoga has been shown to slow the aging process, enhance skin quality & muscle tone, and give life a sense of well-being and joy.
  • Yoga builds strength and flexibility.
  • Yoga practitioners crave healthier foods, process their food better, sleep sounder and are able to more efficiently break the cycles of stress and fatigue.
  • The use of breath, meditation and asana postures generate energy and bring the autonomic nervous system into balance.

Yoga has expanded my consciousness, boosted my self-confidence, health, well-being and happiness, and I look forward to helping other people discover the sense of accomplishment and wonder that can come from a sweet, nourishing and beautiful yoga experience.
